Why have your pet treated with us?

We passionately care about the welfare of animals that need our help. All we do is achieve the best quality of life possible and only advise the intervention when it is the best for our patients. It is easy to say, but it can be difficult to put it into practice. At SEVeterinaris we are trained specialists, similar to hospital consultants, and each of us is dedicated to providing your pet with the best treatment and care. Take a look at the clique here for more information on what a veterinary specialist is. We work as a team with you and your veterinarian, in the best interest of your beloved member of the animal family and together we will age the hand and paw of each client and patient that comes to us. Please note that you do not have to be a specialist to offer a referral service. If you want your pet to be treated by a specialist with specialist knowledge and experience, make sure they refer you to a recognized European or American specialist. Genuine specialists will have a Diploma qualification in their specialty. Our team receives references in soft tissue surgery, orthopedics and neurosurgery and a specialist in veterinary anesthesia directs the anesthesia service. We also have diagnostic imaging specialists who run the imaging service when needed (X-ray, CT, and MRI).

How do I organize a referral?

We are an extension of your vets and we cannot accept referrals directly from members of the public or give advice to pet owners who have not previously seen for a specific condition. If you think your pet could benefit from a specialist opinion, you should contact your own veterinary surgeon / office, who can facilitate a referral if appropriate. A referral may not be appropriate, but this does not mean that we cannot help you and your pet as we offer an advisory service to veterinary surgeons, as well as X-ray / CT scans and case reviews.

How is the consultation carried out?

Your initial consultation will be with the clinical specialist who will be in charge of caring for your pet. These consultations are held in your office and typically last up to 1 hour, so there is plenty of time for a full evaluation of your pet, treatment options are discussed, and any of your pet responses are answered. questions. Treatment plans will be executed pending that outcome. Most surgical cases can be performed in your office, as we have invested heavily in state-of-the-art surgical equipment to maximize changes and get the best result for your pet's condition. However, in some more complex cases, surgery may be required where specific equipment, such as fluoroscopy scans, is available. This will be discussed with you if you deem it necessary.

Payment

We work in the best interest of your pet at all times and all inquiries regarding the costs of treating your pet should be discussed with your veterinarians prior to making an appointment with us as no two pets are alike.

Your vet has no obligation to recommend us. If they recommended a referral, it is because they value the care and experience that we can provide to your pet.
