A positive attitude goes a long way with Ricardo de Sousa. Ricardo graduated from the "Vasco da Gama" University (Portugal) in 2007. After a year doing an external internship in a private practice in Barcelona, ​​Ricardo moved to the UK in 2008, where he spent the next 13 years working at various Veterinary Specialist Centres including, Liverpool University, Cambridge University and the Bristol University, Fitzpatrick Referrals (The Bionic Vet) and Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists. During these years, Ricardo underwent advanced training in soft tissue surgery and orthopedic surgery accredited by the European College of Veterinary Surgery and has co-authored several research projects, presented at multiple national and international conferences, and received the Leslie Vaughan Prize for the best clinical summary presentation at the British Veterinary Orthopedics Association in 2013. Ricardo is currently doing the CertAVP in imaging and is an examiner at the European School of Veterinary Postgraduate Studies.
